Visualising automation steps
Manual 3D modelling remains an essential part of ship design. At the same time, the industry is increasingly embracing automation to streamline and accelerate the design-to-production process. This demo shows how a 3D design can be systematically translated into a structured database of objects and their corresponding production specifications.
Because automated workflows often conceal the intermediate steps, a visual demonstration was developed to communicate how the script breaks down and processes the design tasks. While the demo focuses on the core workflow, the complete script incorporates additional processing stages and generates multiple output formats, including Excel tables, text files, and images.
